Hawkstone Commercials Co-director Oliver Lewis has been named as Young Entrepreneur of the Year at the 2023 South Wales Business Awards.

Held at the iconic Hilton Hotel in Cardiff, the awards were celebrating their 15th year, with a gala black-tie ceremony hosted by Sara Edwards.

As 2023 draws to a close, this award caps off a fantastic first 15 months of business for Hawkstone Commercials. With a £15 million turnover against a projected £150,000 and staff member number twenty onboarded, Hawkstone is on course to become the UK’s leading commercial car and van leasing businesses within the next 2-3 years.

Oliver Lewis, Co-director of Hawkstone Commercials said, “It’s been quite an emotional few weeks for everyone on the team. Every goal we set, everything we hoped to achieve has been completely blown away. In our heart, we remain immensely humble, and proudly Welsh. Above everything, at the core of our DNA, we want to be known as a business that puts its people and our community first. There is no greater satisfaction than providing job opportunities for our local community. The last year has driven us to recalibrate out expectations. In 2024, we are targeting £30 million in turnover whilst taking our team to 30 staff members.”

The goals for 2024 might seem a like an enormous challenge for any business to achieve in only its second year of trading. However, Hawkstone Commercials has already started to check off a few 2024 targets in the final quarter of 2023.
