The hall, in 1.3 acres of grounds with the Panteinion waterfall near its gates, has most recently been used as an arts and events venue and latterly as exclusive holiday accommodation.
Sean Roper, of Paul Fosh Auctions, said: “This sale presents a wonderful opportunity for an entrepreneur or investor to acquire a historic Welsh hall dating back to the 1630’s which occupies an elevated position and has a significant area of land measuring approx. 1.3 acres set within a stunning valley and wonderful sea views.

“The property has most recently been a boutique holiday accommodation & events centre but could equally be a stunning residential home boasting 10 bedrooms.
“The hall has many unique features including its own water supply from a waterfall within the Eryri National Park (Snowdonia).
“The property benefits from a spacious second reception room, bathroom and access to the kitchen area. The hall retains many period, characterful features, including, decorative coving, wood panelling, open fireplace and original slate flagged flooring.

“Within the grounds of Panteinion Hall there is also a detached one-bedroom cabin, which could very easily be let out for holiday use to gain an income, if desired.
“The property is ideally located for access to internationally renowned Eryri National Park, for local amenities, the Cambrian Coast Railway Line and the delightful two mile stretch of the sandy beach at Fairbourne.”
Friog is a charming hamlet on the outskirts of Fairbourne which is a village on the coast of Barmouth Bay to the south of the estuary of the River Mawddach by Eryri National Park.
