The countdown continues to the opening of Hollywood Bowl XL at St David’s Cardiff, with the company teasing another glimpse inside its new city centre entertainment venue.
After previously revealing the first look at its pioneering e-karting track, Hollywood Bowl XL and St David’s Cardiff have now shared an image showcasing the venue’s bowling lanes as work continues ahead of its opening later this summer.
The latest teaser offers another behind the scenes look at the major new leisure destination, which will become Hollywood Bowl’s first XL concept in Wales and its second venue in the capital, alongside its existing centre at the Red Dragon Centre in Cardiff Bay.
Located across two floors at St David’s Cardiff, the venue represents a new direction for Hollywood Bowl, combining bowling, gaming, dining and high speed entertainment under one roof.

One of the biggest attractions will be the brand’s first ever e-karting experience, with the electric karting circuit set to offer a new experience for visitors to Cardiff city centre.
Alongside the karting, guests will be able to enjoy 20 ten pin bowling lanes, interactive darts, a live sports bar and a large amusement arcade featuring a mix of classic and modern games.
The venue will also include Hollywood Bowl’s signature diner, serving a menu of burgers, hot dogs, milkshakes, cocktails and other refreshments.
The development is expected to create more than 50 jobs across leisure, hospitality and customer service as Hollywood Bowl expands its presence in Cardiff.
An official opening date has yet to be confirmed, but the venue is expected to welcome its first visitors later this summer.
With the latest image teasing the bowling lanes now taking shape, anticipation continues to build for one of Cardiff’s most eagerly awaited new entertainment destinations.
