Motoring enthusiasts and families are set to descend on Barry Island this weekend as the popular Barry Festival of Transport returns for another year.
Taking place on Sunday 14 June, the free event will transform the seafront into a showcase of classic vehicles, vintage transport and family-friendly attractions.
Visitors can expect to see hundreds of classic cars and commercial vehicles displayed along the promenade and gardens, offering a unique opportunity to get up close to a wide variety of historic and well-preserved vehicles.
The festival will also feature vintage buses and a selection of stalls located in the rear section of Nell’s Point Car Park, adding to the nostalgic atmosphere of the day.
One of the highlights of the event will be a free vintage open-top bus service, allowing visitors to travel between the Docks Office, the Bus Depot and Barry Island aboard heritage vehicles.
Organisers are encouraging people of all ages to attend and enjoy a day celebrating transport history in one of Wales’ most popular seaside destinations.
The Barry Festival of Transport runs from 10am until 4pm on Sunday and is free to attend.
With classic vehicles, vintage buses and family attractions all on offer, the event promises a memorable day out for transport enthusiasts and visitors alike.
