Cardiovascular diseases are becoming a menace in the world today. They are among the leading causes of death and disabilities. For this reason, they must be addressed with the urgency they deserve to prevent further casualties. This article will analyze these diseases, their symptoms, and their causes to give you a glimpse of what you should do to prevent them from attacking you.

    Diapason of cardiovascular diseases

    1. Coronary Artery Disease

It is a condition whereby the blood vessels leading blood to the heart are tightened. As a result, one may experience pain around the chest area. According to experts, the condition needs urgent medical care if it is severe. If it goes untreated for long, it stands a chance to cause death.

Experiencing a heart attack is the most common way people know they have this condition. Its symptoms do not readily show up unless the damage is significant. Therefore, it is vital to do regular checkups to detect it early enough.

    1. Arrhythmias

Arrhythmia happens when the heart does not follow its normal rhythm. It can beat either at a very high speed, called tachycardia, or very slow, called bradycardia. This is due to the failure of the electrical signals that control the heart’s beats.

It can be treated if it is detected early enough. Treatment is through surgery, catheter procedures, or medications. However, the best way is to prevent it in the first place by practicing a healthy lifestyle that favors the heart.

The scary thing about it is that it may last your entire lifetime. Also, it is not easily detected or taken seriously since you may think that it is normal for the heart to behave that way. It is common among people aged sixty or more years.

    1. Congenital Heart Defects

These conditions usually are experienced at birth. They alter how the heart of the baby functions and its structure. They may cause an imbalance of blood flow into and out of the heart. They also vary depending on the baby. Some are mild, while others are extremely severe.

Previously, these conditions were life-threatening to babies, and those who had them died at a tender age. However, with the advancement in technology, most of them survive and can grow to become normal adults.

    1. Heart Valve Disease

All of its valves must work well for the heart to function normally. However, this is not the case some other times. One or two valves may fail to perform their mandate by either not closing or opening as required. Therefore, blood flow into and out of the heart gets disrupted. When that happens, we call this condition heart valve disease.

Treating this condition depends on the affected valve and the extent to which it is damaged. If it is not so severe, then surgery can fix the mess. However, if it is terrible, then it will require valve replacement.

    1. The disease of the Heart Muscle

It is a condition whereby the heart finds it difficult to pump blood to other body parts. As a result, you may experience heart failure, which is pretty dangerous. Most of the time, this condition is genetic. So, if your grandparents had it, then there are chances you may have it. However, it is treatable.

    1. Heart Infection

Heart infection can be caused by bacteria or viruses that harm your heart. They are of different types, which include but are not limited to pericarditis and endocarditis.

    Symptoms

Symptoms of the above cardiovascular diseases are common. That is why you need to see your doctor and get tested to determine which one you are suffering from. This helps you to get the correct prescriptions. The symptoms are as listed below.

    1. Increased or decreased heartbeat
    2. Fatigue
    3. Pain around the chest area
    4. Breathing difficulties
    5. Nausea
    6. Edema
    7. Heart attack
    8. Dizziness
    9. Fainting
    10. Fever
    11. Bluish lips or nails
    12. Increased weight gain

    Causes

    1. Inactive lifestyle

This means you do not engage in any exercise, including walking. If you prefer using a car and lift all the time, you risk getting attacked by the above-described diseases. Ensure you are active.

    1. Overweight

Most lifestyle diseases start when you are overweight. The excess fats in the body create an excellent breeding ground for them. Fitness is key to keeping them away.

    1. Genetic

Some cardiovascular diseases are inherited from parents or grandparents. If this is the case, they become unavoidable. However, you can manage them by practicing a healthy lifestyle.

    1. Age

When we get to a certain age, the body stops producing some crucial hormones like the growth hormone. This may contribute to getting cardiovascular diseases.

    1. Bad habits

These habits may include drug abuse, unhealthy eating, and inactiveness. The good thing is that you can learn the good habits and abandon the bad ones to be healthy.

    1. High cholesterol

High cholesterol can block arteries and veins, thus disrupting blood flow. If that happens, there is a high probability of cardiovascular disease attack. To mitigate this, ensure you eat healthy foods and exercise regularly.

Why are Adults the More Vulnerable?

Because with age, changes come that facilitate heart failure. For instance, when you are younger, your heartbeats may increase when you are under pressure. This is not the case for older people, and it is risky. Also, fatty deposits may build up along arteries, complicating the whole issue further.

How Is Growth Hormone Helping To Fight With Cardiovascular Diseases?

By improving the density of the artery. This prevents heart failure. HGH therapy for adults helps prevent most of the diseases associated with age. Hormone therapy is prescribed for people with a growth hormone deficiency that ceases to be actively produced after 30.

When do you need a doctor’s help?

Immediately you notice any of the symptoms described above.

In conclusion, cardiovascular diseases are dangerous and can cause death or disability. Therefore, it is always important to check up to ascertain that you are doing well. Whenever you need help, do not hesitate to visit us. We are always ready to help.
