Pembroke Dock-based Ledwood Mechanical Engineering is strengthening its senior leadership team with the appointment of two industry experts.

Nigael Lewis has joined Ledwood as Head of Operations from National Grid. He brings significant international experience in terminal management, production, project management, construction and commercial operations within the LNG and oil and gas industry over the last 36 years within the UK, Europe, Asia and North America.

Taking the role of Head of Finance and Company Secretary is Andrew Miller, a Fellow of the Chartered Association of Certified Accountants. He has worked across various global manufacturing sectors with experience ranging from SME to multi-national corporations. He joins Ledwood from Stone Bear Capital.

Commenting on the appointments, Managing Director of Ledwood Nick Revell said: “The growth of our business over recent years and the opportunities ahead, particularly in the renewables sector, mean that we are investing in our resources to ensure continuous improvement and maximum productivity.

“As a major player in the global energy market and one of the largest employers in South-West Wales, we are pleased to have the opportunity to welcome both Nigael and Andrew to our senior team. They both bring a wealth of international experience across the UK, Europe, USA and the Middle East and will no doubt add real value as we continue to deliver engineering, fabrication, coating and construction projects across the oil, gas, process and energy industries.”
