A leading organisation for business professionals is offering its members exclusive behind-the-scenes access to the North Wales Police operations centre this month.
The Institute of Directors (IoD) North Wales branch is delivering an event on Wednesday 17 September between 5:30pm and 7:30pm which will see attendees tour the police’s main control room and call centre located in St Asaph Business Park.
Hosted by deputy call centre manager Peris Hatton, participants will also gain valuable insights into a range of key topics including crisis management, operational leadership, and public service communications all delivered via a presentation.
Chair of North Wales IoD David Roberts believes the opportunity presents a chance for businesspeople to enhance their understanding of how best to manage a fast-paced working environment.
He said: “The IoD North Wales branch is always looking for new, creative ways to empower our region’s leaders, so I hope the expert advice provided at this event will be beneficial in helping every attendee thrive in their respective industries.
“Moreover, the session offers a great interactive space to meet with like-minded individuals who share similar goals. In this respect, it’s fantastic for building and strengthening professional relationships.
“I look forward to seeing many familiar and fresh faces join on the day and I believe there will be many key takeaways from the evening.”
The event follows the success of the IoD North Wales branch’s JCB Transmissions tour held earlier this spring.
