Recently, we brought you news about a drug dealer Jack Thomas, who was jailed for 30 months at Cardiff Crown Court for being concerned in the supply of crack cocaine.

Yesterday (October 1), Michael Cross – a runner for Thomas – was also jailed.

This picture of Jack Thomas and Michael Cross was taken from a phone belonging to Cross after he was arrested. It was used to help link the two men who supplied crack cocaine in the Barry area via their ‘Fatz’ drug line.

Michael Cross was arrested in June after undercover officers saw him selling crack cocaine to a woman near his flat in Osprey Court.

As he was being arrested, Cross tried to discard two street deals of crack cocaine which were recovered by officers. More crack cocaine was found inside his flat. It was a phone seized from Michael Cross which led officers to Jack Thomas who was arrested a month later during a month-long crackdown on county lines across Cardiff and the Vale.

Cross was taken into custody and charged with possessing with intent to supply crack cocaine, and being concerned in the supply of crack cocaine and cannabis.

On Tuesday, October 1, he appeared to be sentenced at Cardiff Crown Court where he was jailed for 29 months.
