One of Wales’s leading law firms, JCP Solicitors, has advised on dental practice transaction deals with a combined value of £78 million in just over four years.

The firm, which has offices across south and west Wales, has achieved this impressive total since its specialist healthcare team was established in 2018. This figure is set to increase even further as another £25million of dental transactions are due to be completed by the law firm later this year.

JCP Solicitors is one of three law firms in Wales to have an associate member of the National Association of Dental Accountants and Lawyers (NASDAL) in its team.

Chris Davies, the head of JCP’s expert healthcare team and NASDAL member, said he was delighted with the team’s achievements, he said: “We are a sector leader in advising on healthcare transactions thanks to the experience and knowledge of our dedicated Cardiff-based team.

“Over the past four years our team has advised on numerous transactions, with businesses turning to us repeatedly when they sell or acquire a practice to ensure the transaction is handled skilfully.

“I’d like to congratulate the healthcare team for their persistent dedication to ensuring the success of the team. We are now focussed on maintaining this momentum and looking ahead to further growth in 2023.”

Dental client, Dr Paul Jones, has recently concluded a practice purchase, adding to his portfolio of practices throughout Wales, taking his portfolio to five practices across Brecon, Pontypridd and Merthyr Tydfil.

Dr Jones said: “I am delighted to have worked with JCP Solicitors on the purchase of my fifth practice and I’d like to thank them for their support and professionalism throughout this process.

“Their wide-ranging experience in dealing with the purchase of my dental practices has been evident throughout, and their advice and guidance has been absolutely invaluable to ensuring that everything went smoothly.”

Mr Davies added: “We are pleased to have advised Dr Jones on the purchase of his latest practice which has seen him strengthen his dental portfolio even further. As a NASDAL member it is my privilege to help support the growth of the vital dental industry across Wales and the UK.

“We are proving to be a highly trusted source for dental practitioners looking to make the next move, and we’d encourage anyone considering this to get in touch.”
