JCP Solicitors, headquartered in Swansea, has announced a series of three internal promotions naming Claire Davies, Emily Summer, and Alice Rowlands as Senior Associates.

Leading legal cases concerning Family, Commercial Litigation and Lifetime Planning respectively, the promotions demonstrate JCP’s continued commitment to professional development and business growth.

Having made her name in high-net worth matters of family law – particularly cases involving businesses, farms, pensions, trusts, international affairs and pre-nuptial agreements – Claire Davies brings over 20 years’ experience to her new role. After joining JCP in 2020, Claire has worked diligently for her clients on a range of cases across south and west Wales.

In Commercial Litigation, Emily Summer has expertise across commercial debt recovery, insolvency and property-related matters acting for banks, building societies, fixed charge receivers, and private creditor and debtor clients. Emily completed her training at JCP Solicitors in 2018 after previously working at JCP as a legal assistant. After moving to a Top 60 UK firm for a short time after qualification, she returned to the business in 2022. Emily will continue to develop her relationships with the team’s local and national clients.

Also having trained at JCP Solicitors, qualifying in September 2020, Alice Rowlands takes on a Senior Associate position in Swansea’s Lifetime Planning team. Alice brings expertise across the lifetime planning spectrum of services, including Wills, Trusts, Lasting Powers of Attorney and the administration of estates.

Hayley Davies, JCP Solicitors CEO, said: “This triple promotion represents JCP’s support of colleague development, and we are proud to promote three new Senior Associates in our business.

“These appointments strengthen our offering across multiple areas of expertise, demonstrating the breadth and depth of expert knowledge we have here at JCP. I would like to congratulate each one of our new Senior Associates and recognise their conscientiousness and dedication to our core values.”

The newly promoted team members will continue to advise business and private clients, providing expert legal advice, across south and west Wales, and beyond.
