Global property consultancy Knight Frank has appointed Rachel Hughes as a senior surveyor in its Property Asset Management (PAM) team based in Cardiff.

She joins after nine years at JLL, where she carried out a range of asset management tasks and services.

She said: “I am delighted to be joining Knight Frank which has a very strong reputation for providing a good personal local service looking after industrial, office and retail properties for commercial landlords across South Wales.”

Knight Frank’s Property Asset Management (PAM) department in Cardiff provides management services for a wide range of funds and private investors on some of South Wales’ largest single and multi‐let commercial properties.

Services include strategic asset management advice, managing rents and arrears, rent review advice, service charges, facilities management and tenant liaison. High profile properties Knight Frank manages in Cardiff include Churchill House, Eastern Business Park, and the city centre retail scheme Castle Arcades.

Joanna Crofts, head of Knight Frank’s PAM teams in Wales and the South West, said: “We are proud that we provide a PAM service for Wales which is based in Wales, and are delighted that Rachel is joining our growing Cardiff team, which has been going from strength to strength in recent times. She brings broad experience and local knowledge, and a real desire to deliver a first-class personal service.”

Across the UK, Knight Frank’s 325-strong PAM team manages 3,113 commercial properties valued at £20 billion and totalling approximately 68 million sq ft, and collects annual rents of £1.57 billion, and £188.6 million in service charges each year.
