he Cyber Resilience Centre for Wales (WCRC) is delighted to make its first board member announcement of the new year – Managing Partner, Simon Tee of Kilsby Williams Chartered Accountants.
The leading independent accountancy firm, which is based in Newport, and which celebrated its 30th anniversary last year, provides solutions for businesses across a variety of services such as company audits, accountancy advice and technical tax solutions designed to avoid tax leakage. It works with clients from across South Wales, the Midlands and London, ranging from sole traders to companies in international quoted groups.
Simon, who heads up Kilsby Williams, qualified as an Associate of The Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales with Deloitte then subsequently joined Kilsby Williams when the business first launched in 1991. Now, as managing partner, he acts for many clients offering unique solutions on audit, accounting, tax and fund-raising issues.
Commenting on his new position on the WCRC board, he says: “As a firm we are delighted to place ourselves at the forefront of cyber protection for businesses in Wales. Our direct involvement with the Cyber Resilience Centre for Wales will be of great benefit to our clients, keeping them informed on how to minimise risk and protect their businesses.”
The WCRC is part of a network of centres established across the country providing a highly accessible and respected cyber resource, in an unregulated market, for simple yet effective cyber security guidance and support to all businesses which need it. This is achieved through a variety of membership options, both free and paid for, as well as offering a range of services all designed to help assess, build and manage online business networks to respond to a threat efficiently.
