Residents will notice works activity at A4061 Baglan Street and Jones Street in Treorchy, as the Council carries out local drainage improvements.

The work will install a structural culvert liner to the existing network, to improve the condition of the culvert and increase the network’s capacity.

Work will begin on Tuesday, June 13, lasting three weeks in total. The Rhondda Cynon Taf Streetcare team will carry out the scheme.

Some elements of the work may require temporary traffic management locally.

The scheme is being delivered using an 85% contribution from Welsh Government’s Small Scale Works Grant Programme, with the remainder from the Council’s capital programme.
