With the sun shining this August, Wrexham-based communications company, Moneypenny, is taking its people’s wellbeing to another level, with the launch of its summer activities scheme. The company has invested in sport and leisure equipment that its people can borrow, either to use in their breaks in the company’s beautiful grounds, or off-site, in their leisure time away from the office.

For example, people can request games such as Giant Jenga, boules, Swingball, tennis, archery or cricket sets, to enhance a family BBQ, or for a more sporty option, can borrow an SUP (stand up paddleboard) starter kit, surfboard, or kayak, complete with PFDs (personal flotation devices).

There is no cost involved in this innovative scheme, and kit can be borrowed for up to 10 days. Moneypenny’s famous PAs simply need to sign up for the leisure kit they’d like to borrow, and sign some Ts and Cs before collecting it from the summer activities cupboard, returning it after use.

Charlotte Ashdown People Director at Moneypenny commented: “Our people work so hard for us, answering calls for companies all over the globe, 24/7, and we’ve always gone the extra mile to enhance their wellbeing both in and out of work.  As the long hot summer continues, we want to give something back that will help everyone relax and enable them to have a go at a sport they’ve always fancied trying.  We’ve had a fantastic response to the scheme already, and we’re going to respond to staff suggestions of future kit to add to our current menu of activities.”
