LLL WELL Café and Wellness Club, the latest venture from the founders of the Love Live Light Healing Hub, has opened at the Celtic Manor Resort in Newport.
The café and club, located next to The Forum Health Club, combines recovery treatments with a café serving açaí bowls, protein smoothies, ceremonial matcha and speciality coffees. Recipes include ingredients such as collagen, medicinal mushrooms and adaptogens.
Facilities include a private infrared sauna and ice bath suite, and Normatec™ Pressotherapy massage, a 40-minute treatment that uses specialised leg boots and air compression and is designed to support circulation and post-workout recovery.
Founders Rico Zulkarnain and Tess Alonzi both grew up in Newport. The team opened its flagship location in Pontcanna five years ago.
Rico Zulkarnain, co-founder of LLL WELL, said: “This is a dream opportunity for Tess and me. We’re big believers in divine timing and recently found a photograph of us celebrating Christmas at the Celtic Manor Resort. Without knowing what the future held, we were standing right outside what would become the new LLL WELL Café and Wellness Club.”
