Delicious gourmet fish and chips are only a stone’s throw away from the golden sands of Rhyl, with the ‘Shack’ opening today on Rhyl promenade.

The brand new eatery offers locals and holiday makers top quality fish and chips, as well as a new outdoor dining experience, in walking distance from Central Beach.

On arrival, customers will be met by a Maitre’d and once orders have been placed from our brand new sea-side themed menu, which includes everything you would expect from a traditional fish and chip take away but with a gourmet twist, customers can then choose to enjoy the holiday ambience in the new dining area, or head off to Central Beach to enjoy their meal there.

The Shack is completely dog friendly, and offers a dog station with water bowls and even dog friendly ice cream.

Jamie Groves, Managing Director of Denbighshire Leisure Ltd, said: “Everyone at Denbighshire Leisure Ltd has worked hard to bring this new eatery to Rhyl. We expect the Shack to be popular with both residents and visitors, and it will be an ideal stop-off point for cyclists, walkers and general beach users.

“This is the third new food and beverage offer Denbighshire Leisure have opened this year in Rhyl, and is part of our continuing commitment to helping develop the profile of town as a destination of choice.  With this aim in mind, we believe the Shack is exactly what the promenade needs, seafood by the sea, what could be better?”
