The Reds’ chief executive is used to a premier playing surface, so when he needed composite decking in time for his wedding, he contacted North Wales-based UK Leisure Living.

The Mochdre and St Asaph firm, which also supplies and repairs high-quality hot tubs, installed around 30 square metres of the product in readiness for the big day at Mr Moore’s Wirral home.

UK Leisure Living’s managing director Gareth Jones – who picked up two gold UK Pool and Spa Awards in December – said the Anfield supremo was one of the first to contact them after beginning a new marketing campaign for the composite decking side of the company.

“We were delighted to hear from Mr Moore and glad to be able to deliver in time for his wedding day,” said Gareth.

“I believe it was a key part of the ceremony as the outside of his home and a marquee played a big part in proceedings, so we were glad to be of assistance.

“Mr Moore was lovely with our team and national sales manager Neil Vaughan Jones and a great customer, so we sent he and his bride a Welsh hamper to mark the occasion.”

He added: “The decking side of the business is growing all of the time and complements the hot tub arm of UK Leisure Living, so for us to attract the attention of one of the most powerful men in football was fantastic.”

Mr Moore – whose side currently stand top of the Premier League – is a former Corporate Vice-President of Microsoft’s Interactive Entertainment Business division, overseeing the Xbox and Xbox 360 games consoles.

He was also president of SEGA of America and head of Electronic Arts’ EA Sports division before joining Liverpool FC in 2017.

The club is flying high under the guidance of manager Jurgen Klopp, and Mr Moore says UK Leisure Living is also a winning team.

“I engaged UK Leisure Living for a composite deck to be built at my home and time was of the essence, as the new deck was part of the wedding plans at my home,” he said.

“The project was arranged quickly and the team on site worked efficiently to achieve the results.

“We chose a lovely coppered oak board and we are delighted with the results. I would have no hesitation in recommending UK Leisure Living and their range of products.”
