The infamous Welsh choir will support the Motown legend at the iconic Cardiff Castle this June.

Only Men Aloud are supporting global superstar, Diana Ross, on the Cardiff date of her Thank You Summer 2022 tour on Friday 10th June 2022. Ross first performed in the Welsh capital with The Supremes in March 1965, later performing solo in 1994.

Only Men Aloud, a ten-strong male choir, shot to fame nearly 10 years ago after winning BBC One’s Last Choir Standing and signing an album deal with Universal Records.

Formed in 2000, the group has performed at several high-profile events including the London 2012 Olympics Opening Ceremony, The Royal Variety Performance, and the 2010 Ryder Cup, as well as undertaking a highly successful tour of the USA.

The concert will take place at Cardiff Castle, with the historic Norman Keep as a stunning backdrop to Only Men Aloud’s incredible sound and the timeless hits of the Queen of Motown, Diana Ross.

Only Men Aloud member, Craig Yates said; “This opportunity is huge for the group, appearing in an iconic Welsh landmark, and supporting one of the most successful recording artists of all time, we’re honoured to have been invited to perform.”

Ahead of her concert in Cardiff Castle, Diana Ross will be headlining the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee Party at the Palace concert, as well as playing the Glastonbury Legends Slot later this summer.

Doors open at 6 pm for this once in a lifetime event in Cardiff Castle, and tickets are on sale now.
