    Pembrokeshire Agricultural Society launch Food & Farming Awards 2025

    Pembrokeshire Agricultural Society has announced the launch of the Pembrokeshire Food & Farming Awards. The new awards are dedicated to honouring the outstanding contributions of the farming and rural community around the county.

    This set of prestigious awards aim to celebrate the hard work, innovation and dedication of the individuals, businesses and organisations that have made significant impacts in Pembrokeshire’s agricultural sector.

    Tim & Margaret Johns, Presidents of the Pembrokeshire Agricultural Society, said, “We are proud to support and celebrate the incredible efforts of our farming and rural community. The Pembrokeshire Food & Farming Awards are an opportunity to showcase the excellence and innovation that drives our agricultural sector forward.”

    The Awards will cover the following categories:

    • Dairy Farmer of the Year
    • Livestock Farmer of the Year
    • Arable Farmer of the Year
    • Rural Community Champion
    • Agricultural Contractor of the Year
    • Lifetime Achievement Award
    • Farm Diversification Project of the Year
    • Taste of Pembrokeshire Food or Drink Product – Voted by the Public
    • Food Champion
    • Farming for the Future Award (Young Person)
    • Agricultural Advisor of the Year (Sales Rep, Advisor etc.)
    • Show Stopper Award

    Nominations for the awards are now open and will close on Tuesday, 28 October 2025. Everyone involved in the industry is encouraged to participate by nominating deserving individuals and businesses from around Pembrokeshire who have made a significant impact in the agricultural sector.

    The Pembrokeshire Food & Farming Awards 2025 winners’ ceremony will take place on Thursday, 4 December 2025 from 7pm in the Parkhouse Exhibition Hall on the County Showground. The evening will bring together farmers, producers and supporters of the rural community to recognise and celebrate their achievements. We invite everyone to attend to help recognise the achievements of Pembrokeshire’s local farming heroes and support the future of the agricultural industry in the county. Tickets will be on sale in the near future.
