    Pensioner dies following collision in residential home car park

    South Wales Police is investigating a fatal road traffic collision which occurred in the car park of a residential home yesterday afternoon (Monday, December 16).

    Officers were called to Morgana Court on Porthcawl Road, South Cornelly, at approximately 2.35pm after a silver Renault Captur was in collision with a woman.

    The 85-year-old woman died at the scene.

    Her family has been informed and is being supported by specialist officers. HM Coroner has also been informed.

    Officers would like to speak to anyone who witnessed the collision or the moments prior to it. Anyone with information should contact the Roads Policing Unit via 101, quoting occurrence 1900461682.
