Newport Market will host a fair featuring vegan food and cruelty free products – with some prehistoric fun for children – in April.

Stalls offering hot and cold food, make-up and gifts will be upstairs in the gallery from 10.30am to 4pm.

Those taking part will include Babita’s Spice Deli, serving gluten-free Asian cuisine; Mr Nice Pie; Lotties Vegan Bakery; Eat Petite Bakes; Welshman’s Lunch; Jane’s Better Butter; Rosie’s Raw Foods; Happy Daisy and Handlebar Barista Brew Bar.

Skin care stalls will include Neal’s Yard Remedies, Tropic Skin Care and Do Terra Oils.

A free kid’s craft corner will help keep the younger members of the family amused. It will have a prehistoric theme with dinosaur figures and soft toys; colouring books and stickers. Children are also invited to dress up.

There are still opportunities for stall holders who would like to take part, particularly if they sell vegan burgers, pizza or chocolate. Free space is being offered to animal rescue centres.

For more information, or to get involved, contact event organiser Sue Thomas on 02920 709292 or Facebook #AbFabVegan.
