Two hotels in the Welsh Marches are being marketed by Colliers International on behalf of administrators.

Damian Webb and Diana Frangou of RSM Restructuring Advisory LLP as Joint Administrators of Leisure & Developments Ltd have instructed Colliers International to market the Radnorshire Arms in Presteigne and the Knighton Hotel in Knighton.

Peter Brunt, a Hotels Director with Colliers International’s Hotels team, said the Radnorshire Arms has a distinctive black and white Tudor frontage and is thought to date from the 16th Century.

“Situated on the edge of the unspoilt border town of Presteigne, the Grade II* listed property has 19 letting rooms, restaurant and meeting room and characterful interior.”

The Knighton Hotel is an attractive, Victorian property with 16 letting bedrooms and a function room for up to 200 people.

“The Grade II listed hotel is believed to date from 1867 and also boasts easy connections to Ludlow, Hereford and Shrewsbury.”

The company owning the hotels went into administration. Offers are invited for the freehold.
