The much-anticipated Gorseinon 10K & 2K Fun Run is set to return on April 12th, bringing together runners, families, and the local community for a powerful day of sport, remembrance, and impact.

This year’s event is once again proudly led by headline sponsor Brisco Williams, with automotive partner Sinclair Group UK providing the official lead vehicle. The event is delivered in partnership with Front Runner Events and Freedom Leisure, ensuring a professionally managed and memorable race experience for all participants.

The event is also generously supported by Rhys Davies Mortgages, Brecon Carreg, Swansea Council, Simon Hayden Freelance Design & Media, and Gorseinon Town Council, highlighting the strength of community collaboration behind this growing event.

Organised by Morgan’s Army Charitable Foundation, the Gorseinon 10K aims to bring people together while raising vital funds for families facing childhood cancer and bereavement. Proceeds from the event will support both Morgan’s Army and Tŷ Hafan Children’s Hospice, helping provide essential care, respite, and support to children with life-limiting conditions and their families across Wales.

Morgan’s Army Founder, Natalie Ridler said:
“This event means everything to us. It’s not just about running – it’s about remembering Morgan and other children taken too soon, supporting families who are living a life no one prepares you for, and showing them they are not alone. Every single person who signs up, sponsors, volunteers or cheers on the day becomes part of something bigger than themselves.”

“Seeing our community show up like this – with so much heart – is something we will never take for granted.”

The event will feature a vibrant race village, family-friendly atmosphere, and a 2K fun run designed to encourage participation from all ages and abilities. With entries already filling fast, organisers are encouraging runners to secure their place and be part of something truly special by visiting WWW.GORSEINON10K.CO.UK to sign up.
