sk:n, the UK’s leading medical skincare clinic group, has announced it will be opening a new clinic on Charles Street in Cardiff.

The new sk:n clinic is a merger between its existing operation at the David Lloyd Health Club on Ipswich Road, which will close on 16th November 2018, and Cellite, an already established aesthetic clinic situated around the corner from Cardiff’s central shopping hub St David’s Dewi Sant.

Cellite was originally opened in 1998 by dermatologist Dr Harryono Judodihardjo and his wife as the first of its kind in Wales and, indeed, one of the first in the UK. This September, Cellite celebrates its 20-year milestone, a testament to its established role in the Cardiff community and trusted service. As Cellite, the clinic has won a myriad of awards in its 20-year history, demonstrating the quality of the treatments and team. These include The Cosmedic Pharmacy Award for Best Clinic Midlands & Wales in the Aesthetics Awards 2017, and Best Clinic Wales in the Aesthetics Awards 2016.

On the launch of sk:n Cardiff Charles Street, Dr Harry said:

“We are all very excited to join such an established, leading medical clinic group, and I believe that our joint expertise will bring a new dimension to what we can offer here on Charles Street. The award-winning quality of our service and treatments will by no means be compromised, but can only improve and grow as we embark on this new journey with sk:n. We look forward to welcoming back our existing patients, as well as new ones.”

The sk:n clinic will offer a multitude of body treatments never before available in a sk:n clinic. These include Pure Tumescent Liposculpture (an efficient, minimal discomfort, quick healing fat removal treatment), Breast Enlargement by Fat Transfer (pioneering natural breast augmentation without the need for implants), and Endermologie Cellulite Treatment (a quick, safe and medically proven cellulite reduction without the need for invasive surgery).
