South Wales Police is investigating the circumstances surrounding two 17 year old boys from Cardiff who have been arrested in Thailand.
The force said it had been made aware of the arrests and officers are currently working to establish the circumstances which led to the teenagers travelling to Thailand.
In a statement, South Wales Police said: “We have been made aware that two 17-year-old boys from Cardiff have been arrested in Thailand.
“We are investigating the circumstances which led to the boys travelling to Thailand.
“This is a very concerning time for the families and wider community.
“We currently have limited information on the arrests, but officers are gathering as much information as possible.”
