    Leading specialist recruiter Acorn has been awarded a contract to provide a range of temporary production workers to leading South West dairy company Yeo Valley.

    Acorn has worked with Yeo Valley for several years already, with the new contract involving supplying all temporary production workers to various Yeo Valley sites around south-west England, including Blagdon, Cannington, Highbridge, Crewkerne and Newton Abbot.

    Yeo Valley and Acorn will be working together to continue to provide attractive vacancies for people throughout the South West, and will also provide relevant training and key support for people looking to progress into longer-term roles.

    South West Divisional Manager for Acorn Noel Hoare said:

    “We’re thrilled to have been awarded the contract to provide temporary production workers to Yeo Valley, and we’re very much looking forward to working with them to support their ongoing temporary recruitment needs.

    “Yeo Valley’s south-west presence is well-aligned with our regional branches in Weston-super-Mare, Bridgwater, Yeovil and Newton Abbot, meaning that we will be close at hand to provide timely and expansive support.”

    Anita Calverley, HR Director at Yeo Valley added;

    “As Britain’s number one organic dairy producer and 54th in the top 100 grocery brands in the UK, our growth story at Yeo Valley continues apace.

    “To ensure we have the right supply of talented, reliable people to meet production needs, we’ve decided it’s the right time for us to appoint a single recruitment partner.  Acorn came out on top against all the criteria we were looking for in a trusted partner.

    “We’ve been impressed with Acorn in the run-up to this contract going live, and we’ve already begun working with them on all of our sites across the South West.  Their high street branch network matches our site locations very well, and they’ve demonstrated that they understand our business needs and can provide us with great people when needed, complementing our core permanent workforce.”
