STAEDTLER UK, south Wales-based stationery giant and manufacturer of the world’s most recognisable pencil — the black and yellow stripy Noris — has today (25 April) announced an exclusive partnership with WHSmith.co.uk. Designed to benefit primary school classrooms across the nation, the partnership will provide members of STAEDTLER Teachers’ Club with 30% off STAEDTLER products purchased at WHSmith.co.uk — in celebration of the Club’s 10th anniversary year.

Joining forces to support primary school teachers, NQTs, and teaching assistants — who can join the digital Club for free — this new offer marks the first exclusive discount to be provided for UK teachers between WHSmith.co.uk and STAEDTLER UK.

The discount — which teachers can claim across all STAEDTLER products, from triplus pens to FIMO and the brand’s iconic Noris pencil — is available for all primary school staff who are members of STAEDTLER’s FREE online platform, STAEDTLER Teachers’ Club.

Plus, teachers who sign up will be able to use the same code to receive 20% off all files and folders at WHSmith.co.uk — from April-June 2022. Following this period, a separate additional offer will be announced for July-September and October-November.

Callum King, Assistant Stationery Manager at WHSmith.co.uk, said: “We’re proud to be offering primary school teachers this exclusive discount, and hope it will provide a much-needed boost for teachers after a turbulent 2 years.”

The partnership follows a long-standing relationship between STAEDTLER and WHSmith.co.uk, which is the UK’s biggest stationery retailer, a stalwart of UK high streets since 1792 and Europe’s largest manufacturer of wood-cased pencils, modelling clay, mechanical pencils and OHP pens.

The discounted offer is all part of the STAEDTLER Teachers’ Club 10-year anniversary — taking place in 2022 — which will see the company celebrate with discounts, new competitions, giveaways, and events for Teachers’ Club members, old and new.

Rachel Owen, Head of Marketing at STAEDTLER UK, said: “We are so pleased to be able to partner with WHSmith.co.uk and provide this offer as a huge ‘thank you’ to our loyal database of 20,000+ Teachers’ Club members — all in celebration of the Club’s 10th anniversary year.

“We hope our members will be able to make good use of the discount throughout the year — and we’d love to see even more teachers joining the free Club when they hear about the discount. I have no doubt that the amazing range of STAEDLTER products at WHSmith.co.uk will inspire primary school teachers to get creative with their classes — in 2022 and beyond.”
