With just days to go until the foodie favourite that is the Cowbridge Food and Drink Festival, details of the much-loved food demos have been set with so much to entertain festival goers across this Spring Bank Holiday weekend.

Masterchef finalist and Steps singing star Ian ‘H’ Watkins will be taking to the stage to cook up a festival street food special inspired by his time on the show last year; part of a jam-packed schedule across both days (May 25th-26th) with something to tempt all tastes at the Cowbridge Town Hall.

‘H’ is also busy preparing for another great event in the town organising Cowbridge Cowchella, a family music festival that will be taking place at the Bear Field on Saturday August 2nd promising even more good food, and music for absolutely all ages to enjoy.

At the Town Hall this weekend, Cowbridge Food and Drink Festival goers will further betreated to Indian inspiration courtesy of Ceginhalfnhalf as well as one of Cowbridge High Street’s newest favourites, the Gateway to India; Absorb Health’s Kefir and Saurkraut and perfect preserves with The Preservation Society.

And still more with artisan ice-cream and cheese from Brooke’s Dairy, super sustainable cooking for little ones at Cooking Clwb and Sian Bassett Roberts back with cheese and cider tasting, a quiz and prizes to be won.

Commenting on this hugely popular feature of the festival, Cowbridge Food and Drink Festival manager Tracy James-Lieberman said:

“I absolutely love the food demos; so informative but more importantly they’re always such good fun!

“It’s great to see all these different dishes being prepared right there on the spot, especially with lots of samples to share!
