Wales is bracing for a spell of wet and windy weather as Storm Dave moves in, bringing the risk of disruption to some areas.
According to the Met Office, the storm will arrive this evening, with strong winds and coastal gales expected, particularly along exposed parts of north and northwest Wales.
Heavy and blustery rain will push across the country at first, before gradually clearing in the early hours of Sunday morning as winds begin to ease. Overnight temperatures are expected to fall to around 3°C.
The areas most likely to be affected include Conwy, Gwynedd and the Isle of Anglesey, where the strongest gusts and most exposed conditions are expected.
The Met Office has issued both amber and yellow National Severe Weather Warnings, covering parts of North Wales as well as northern England, Scotland and Northern Ireland. An amber warning for wind is in place from 7pm this evening until 3am tomorrow morning.
Forecasters warn that gusts of 60 to 70mph are possible in some locations, which could lead to travel disruption, difficult coastal conditions and a small risk of power cuts.
Looking ahead to Sunday, conditions will improve, with sunny spells and scattered showers expected across Wales on Easter Day. Winds will be lighter, although it will feel noticeably cooler, with maximum temperatures reaching around 11°C.
Into next week, Monday and Tuesday are set to be largely dry with plenty of sunshine and increasingly warm conditions. However, it will turn cloudier by Wednesday, with a chance of showers returning and temperatures dipping slightly.
