Swansea Bay Business Club has announced two new Board members and its new President and Deputy President for 2024 and 2025.

Taking over as President is Amy Seppman, the Marketing Director and one of the business owners at JCP Solicitors, one of South Wales’ most recognised law firms, employing 180 people across 8 offices in South Wales, including Swansea, Carmarthenshire and Pembrokeshire. Amy who has been on the Board since 2013, assumes the role of President from Michael Morgan, Managing Director of west Wales based Morgan & Morgan Business and Technology. With over 20 years at JCP Solicitors under her belt, Amy is a Non-Lawyer Director and leads the firms marketing and client engagement team, driving its strategic direction to support the business’ long term objectives.

Amy will be joined in leading the Board by new Deputy President Jonathan Richards, Relationship Director at Lloyds Bank. Jonathan, who has been on the board since 2017 will take over as President in 2026. Jonathan provides guidance and financial solutions to high value clients across South Wales, from Bridgend to Aberystwyth and beyond, to support them in achieving their financial and commercial goals.

Swansea Bay Business Club is a membership-focused organisation, aiming to stimulate prosperity in the Swansea Bay region, from Neath Port Talbot to Pembrokeshire. Run on a voluntary basis by Board members from a range of industries, all of whom are committed to local development, the Club holds monthly networking meetings with an array of notable guest speakers, to bring members of the business community together to network and foster professional connections.

Two new Board members have also been recently appointed, providing essential understanding and first-hand experience of business within the region to support the Club. Russell Greenslade, Chief Executive of Swansea Business Improvement District, brings over 20 years of senior strategic experience to the Board, and Angela Windsor, Director of West Wales based Print Inc and Tarw Sports, offers critical insight as a multi-business-owner.

Russell and Angela will join existing Board members Michael Morgan, Immediate Past President and Managing Director of Morgan & Morgan Business & Technology, Alison Vickers, Managing Partner at Bevan Buckland; Natasha Fulford, Managing Director of reTHINK PR & Marketing, Andrew Downie, founding Director of NETBOP; Mandi Gwynne, Multi Sales Manager of Cardiff Marriott Hotels and Delta Hotel by Marriott Swansea; Mark Sullivan, Managing Director of Thomas Carroll Brokers Swansea Ltd; Professor Louisa Huxtable-Thomas, a senior member of the School of Management at Swansea University, Gareth Thomas, responsible for Sales and Marketing at Gavin Griffiths Group, and Ryan Miles, Director of Miles Hire Limited.

Amy Seppman said: “I’m delighted to be assuming the role of Swansea Bay Business Club President, especially during time of considerable growth for the Club as we approach the milestone of 500 members. As President, I’m looking forward to further improving diversity and inclusion amongst our members and guest speakers, providing a high calibre relationship building community for the transformation of regional business.

“I’m following in Michael Morgan’s excellent footsteps as Club President and would like to thank Michael for the role he has played in supporting the Club as we’ve recovered after the Covid-19 Pandemic. Some of the Club’s most successful events have taken place over the past two years, and I can’t wait to welcome even more businesspeople from across the region to join our members and guests throughout 2024 and beyond.”

The Club also welcomes Faith in Families as its chosen charity for 2024 and 2025. The local charity provides assistance and support to children, young people, and their families through its three ‘community cwtches’ across Swansea and a dedicated team of professionals committed to enhancing their quality of life and wellbeing.
