A man from Swansea has been jailed after he was found to be involved in a seven-figure drugs operation.
41-year-old Jason Partridge and 40-year-old Samantha Phillips, both from Fforestfach, were subject of a Section 23 drugs warrant at their home address in February 2024. During the warrant, a large quantity of Class C drugs was found in boxes addressed to Partridge and seized. Officers also found chocolate tubs filled with postal receipts of recorded deliveries, one of which having a value of £15,000.
Phillips’ phone contained a price list for all of the items being sold by Partridge.
Financial investigators established that from February 2018 to April 2024, from six accounts associated with Partridge, there had been a total of £1,483,930.80 in unexplained credits into his accounts. There was no evidence of any legitimate income.
In October 2025, Partridge changed his plea to possession of criminal property to guilty. He also pleaded guilty to possessing the Class C drugs pregabalin, zopiclone, bromazolam, tramadol, anabolic steroids and diazepam.
He has been sentenced to five years in prison.
Samantha Phillips pleaded guilty to being concerned in the supply of anabolic steroids and diazepam.
She has been handed a four-month prison sentence, suspended for 12 months.
Detective Inspector Richard George said:
“Jason Partridge was running a million-pound drugs operation from his modest home in Fforestfach and was not involved in any legitimate form of employment or other legal work.
“He wanted to cheat the system; to get rich quick with the aid of illegal substances. It has, happily, blown up in his face.
“He involved his partner in his illegal enterprise and has brought her very close to joining him in being sent to prison.
“This is yet another sentence that shows that we will target and arrest those involved in the illegal drugs trade. They will not evade the law for long – they will be brought to justice in the end.”
