The first Gwent Landlord Forum of 2019 will be held on Tuesday 29th January at the Parkway Hotel in Llantarnam, Cwmbran. Speaking will be the ever-popular Douglas Haig of the Residential Landlord Association and Alan Cole of the Federation of Small Businesses.

Mr Haig, Vice Chairman and Director for Wales of the RLA, will be returning to the forum for his annual update of policy and legislation. A key lobbyist on Private Rented Sector reform, Mr Haig and the RLA are at the forefront of discussions with politicians in Cardiff Bay and Westminster.

Mr Cole, an FSB representative with extensive experience, will be discussing the benefits landlords enjoy from membership, especially those who have moved their portfolios into limited companies.

The free event is held bi-monthly and is sponsored by Rubin Lewis O’Brien Solicitors and Green & Co Accountants and Tax Advisors, who are both based in Cwmbran.

Nick Park, Director of Green & Co Accountants and Tax Advisors, said:

“We are delighted to launch the first forum of 2019 with two excellent speakers. Douglas has been speaking at our forum on an annual basis for four years and is very popular amongst our attendees. Alan is a new speaker to our forum but he is an incredibly experienced FSB representative who will offer our landlords an interesting insight into the benefits of membership.”

Managing Partner at Rubin Lewis O’Brien, Sam George, said:

“What a fantastic way to kick-off 2019. Our valued guests will be treated to two informative and engaging talks by professionals offering expert insight into their respective fields. We continuously strive to get the best speakers possible and this month’s forum promises to deliver another event to be remembered.”

The Gwent Landlord Forum will run from 6pm to 8.30pm. For more information, please contact Rubin Lewis O’Brien or Green & Co.
