Calling all Lido Lovers! Daytime swims and after school fun at the National Lido of Wales, Lido Ponty, are back next month.

Tickets go on sale at 9am on Monday, May 16 for all sessions taking place up to and including June 30, 2022.  As usual, it’s online sales only via www.lidoponty.co.uk

The main 2022 season at Lido Ponty will see the school holiday timetable in place from Saturday, May 28 to Sunday, June 5 for the Whitsun half term. This means two early morning swims every day (seven days a week) and then six family fun sessions where all three pools will be open and the inflatable activities will be out.

An extended term time weekday timetable starts on Monday, June 6, and runs right through to the end of the season.

This will include two early morning swims in the main and activity pools every weekday morning, followed by lane/casual swimming in the main pool at 9am. 10.45am, 12.30pm and 2.15pm. The splash pool with fountain will also be open during the day for pre-school toddlers.

After school, there will be two family fun sessions at 4pm and 5.45pm.

Weekends remain the same, with two early morning swim sessions, followed by family fun sessions for the rest of the days.

Brent Bennet Lido General Manager said: “You know summer is on its way when the extended Lido Ponty timetable starts and there are even more opportunities to enjoy one of the most beautiful and unique attractions in Wales.

“The season so far has gone swimmingly, with a new booking system and people loving being back in the Lido and its heated outdoor pools. Huge thanks to everyone for their support so far and we look forward to seeing familiar – and new faces – throughout the season.”

Tickets for all Lido Ponty sessions up to and including June 30 go on sale at 9am on Monday, May 16.

Please select lane/casual swimming for daytime swims and family fun for after-school and weekend sessions.

    A spokesperson said:

“We no longer hold back tickets for sale on the day, or sell tickets from reception. All available tickets are on the website. If you book a session and are unable to attend, please let us know so we can re-release your tickets for sale.

“If you wish to cancel, amend or change the date of your Lido Ponty booking, you can do so by calling reception or emailing lidoponty.co.uk”
