Toolstation, an essential retailer and one of the UK’s fastest growing and largest suppliers of tools and more announces the opening of the Aberdare store on Monday 8th February- creating seven new roles in the area and bringing essential products to help local trade and DIY customers ensure homes and businesses across the UK are warm, dry and secure throughout the winter.

In line with government guidelines, as an essential retailer of tools, DIY and hardware and a critical part of the supply chain for the construction industry, all Toolstation stores will remain open across the UK to provide trade and retail customers with the products they need.

Toolstation offers a wide range of leading brands and trade quality products at great prices in store and online, demonstrating Toolstation’s commitment to quickly and conveniently provide trade, DIYers and homebuilders with tools and more to tackle any task.

Toolstation’s multi-channel service means customers can safely purchase the essentials they need from stores directly or at toolstation.com through their Click & Collect service, with most products available within 5 minutes after purchase.

The knowledgeable store team is also on hand with expert advice and reliable service.

The safety and wellbeing of Toolstation’s colleagues, customers and communities remains the top priority. The stores operate with clear social distancing guidelines with  a dedicated colleague monitoring the door and queuing system, and all colleagues will be provided with PPE.

Store manager Lee Vokes comments: “We are pleased to be opening the new store and supporting local tradespeople DIYers and home builders with tools and more in Aberdare. We recognise the importance of challenging times and our knowledgeable team are committed to providing local customers with a reliable and convenient service for the essentials they need to tackle any task.”

This month, Toolstation has introduced its new Trade Credit account and January Catalogue as part of its continued commitment to further support its trade customers.  It comes at a time when almost half of tradespeople admit to being worried about the impact of the pandemic and one in five are concerned about cash flow difficulties*.

The new Trade Credit account brings the solution its trade customers have been calling out for, providing better cash flow management, with up to 60 Days interest free credit, flexible credit limits and fully online account management.  Signing up for a Trade Credit Account allows customers to buy now and pay later and get the tools and supplies needed for larger jobs.

Toolstation Aberdare will be open seven days a week, from 7am to 8pm Monday to Friday, 7am to 7pm Saturday and 9am to 4pm Sundays.

Toolstation Aberdare store is located at Unit 2, Aberaman Industrial Estate, Canal Road, Aberdare, CF44 6DA.
