An end of terraced house in the Gwent valleys is primed and ready for renovation after being stripped back and extended.

The property, at 1, Mydrian Place in the town of Tredegar, is under starter’s orders with some conversion work already completed and a range of materials needed for other refurbishment, to be included in the sale.

Angie Davey, of Paul Fosh Auctions said:” Situated in a popular location this end of terraced house has been partly stripped back and extended in readiness for renovation.

“The property currently provides an extension area which was planned by the current vendor to include a kitchen and shower room.

“In addition, there is a lounge, dining room/study and three bedrooms.

“Outside the property there is a shared side access to a rear lawned garden and a detached garage with rear lane vehicular access.

“The property, which appears to offer huge potential to a new owner willing to roll up their sleeves and get stuck in, is to be sold as seen including building materials and kitchen units.

“To be sold with vacant possession the property is listed with a guide price of £69,000.”

Tredegar is a town situated on the banks of the Sirhowy River in the county borough of Blaenau Gwent, in the southeast of Wales. The proposed South Wales Metro includes a station in Tredegar, using the line closed by British Railways as part of their Beeching modernisation plan in the Sixties.

The town is served by good road links via the A465 Heads of the Valleys Road.

The next Paul Fosh Auctions sale, when this and some ninety other varied lots will be on offer, starts at 12 noon on Tuesday, February 3 and ends from 5pm on Thursday, February 5.
