Police have taken action following reports of anti social behaviour in Neath Port Talbot.
South Wales Police confirmed that a Section 35 dispersal notice was put in place last night after multiple incidents were reported in and around Ffordd Amazon, Crymlyn Burrows.
Officers from the Roads Policing Unit attended the area, where two vehicles were seized. Two drivers have also been reported for dangerous driving.
The reports related to drivers meeting up to race, before driving erratically through the area and putting pedestrians and other road users at risk.
Sergeant Carl Jenkins said: “These incidents of anti social behaviour, which in this instance involved drivers meeting up to race and then driving erratically and putting pedestrians and other road users in danger, have a serious detrimental effect on the lives of residents in the area. South Wales Police has a zero tolerance approach to this kind of behaviour.”
Police have reminded motorists that enforcement action will be taken where dangerous or anti social driving is identified, particularly where it poses a risk to the public.
