The second annual Cambrian Mountains Food, Drink and Craft Fair is to be held at Bwlch Nant Yr Arian Visitor Centre, Ponterwyd next month.

Set in picturesque landscape of rolling hills and woodland, Bwlch Nant yr Arian is the perfect place to discover and buy top-quality, award winning produce from the Cambrian Mountains, which has adopted the title of Area of Astounding Natural Beauty.

Fourteen local producers, part of the Cambrian Mountains Local Produce Network, will be selling their produce and sharing their passion for the region with visitors on Saturday, October 22 between 10am and 4pm.

Many accommodation providers were inspired to contact local producers after the first event in the Elan Valley last October, with many going on to create welcome hampers for their guests.

Bwlch Nant Yr Arian Visitor Centre is one of 75 Cambrian Mountains Local Produce Champions and sells local produce in its shop.

The Cambrian Mountains Local Produce Network is a legacy of the RDP-funded Dyfodol Cambrian Futures projects, facilitated by Arwain (Powys County Council in collaboration with Ceredigion and Carmarthenshire County Councils).

Dafydd Wyn Morgan, projects manager for Cambrian Mountains Initiative CIC, thanked Natural Resources Wales for collaborating on the Cambrian Mountains Food, Drink and Craft Fair, which he describes as “a great day out for the whole family”.
