The Swansea Bay Business Awards celebrate the diverse range of businesses in Swansea, Neath Port Talbot, Carmarthenshire and Pembrokeshire. The winners from the 15 categories will be announced at a black-tie event on Friday, February 22, at Swansea’s Brangwyn Hall.

The company’s innovative solutions have attracted the attention of a number of major global brands, including: Tata Steel, Dell Technologies, Network Rail, BT and Hitachi as well as securing £1.5m in grant funding from Innovate UK.

Vortex IoT is already building a reputation for finding innovative solutions to a wide range of problems faced by businesses, designing retro-fit products which meet the often extremely exacting needs of a variety of industries.

Adrian Sutton, managing director of Vortex IoT said:

“We’re extremely pleased to have been shortlisted for this award in recognition of the outstanding work that the company is doing under the guidance of our CTO – Behzad Heravi and Head of Innovation – Sharadha Karyiawasam.

“They have assembled a strong engineering team which is pushing the boundaries and taking great pride in being innovative in every aspect of their work. I’m delighted that the team and its work has been recognised for this innovation.”
