Wales is set to enjoy a spell of bright and settled weather, with warm sunshine expected to dominate the days but colder conditions returning overnight.
According to the Met Office, Wednesday will start off on a chilly note, with some early cloud near coastal areas and patches of fog inland. However, this will quickly clear to reveal plenty of sunshine across much of the region.
Temperatures are expected to climb to a pleasant high of around 21°C, making it feel warm in the afternoon despite the cool start. Winds will remain light, helping to keep conditions calm and settled.
As night falls, skies will stay clear, but the drop in temperature will be noticeable. With light winds, there is a risk of mist and fog forming in the early hours, along with a touch of frost in some areas as temperatures dip to around 0°C.
Thursday will begin on another chilly note, with any early mist or fog clearing to leave a fine and dry day. Sunny spells are expected to develop once again, although temperatures will be slightly lower, peaking at around 18°C.
Looking ahead to the rest of the week and into the weekend, the settled pattern is set to continue. Dry conditions and sunny intervals are expected from Friday through to Sunday, though it will feel a little cooler overall. Nights are likely to remain cold, especially where skies stay clear, with light winds continuing across the region.
Residents are being advised to make the most of the sunshine during the day while preparing for colder nights, particularly with the risk of frost in some areas.
