CBD or cannabidiol is a growing trend in the United States. It is a substance extracted from the cannabis plant and it has many medicinal benefits. There are two major cannabis plants. They are hemp and marijuana. These two plants are versatile and have many different uses as well as brimming with several substances.

Asides from CBD which is a type of cannabinoid found in these plants, other popular substances that you can find there include tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), terpenes, flavonoids, omega-fatty acids, essentials oils, etc.

Although the two plants look alike physically and contain almost the same kind of substances, there is a huge difference in their chemical composition. While hemp can be said to be milder, marijuana is stronger. This is due to the THC content present in each plant.

THC is the substance that gives the cannabis plant its intoxicating characteristics and makes the user get high. THC levels in hemp are low and can even be cultivated to contain none at all but in marijuana, it is highly concentrated. This means that it possible to take hemp and not get high and this is why it is the weed of choice. Keep in mind that in the United States, the allowable limit for THC in any product is 0.3%. You can learn more about the differences in both substances here.

Cannabidiol when extracted can be used in making a diverse range of products which determines how it is absorbed into the body. In essence, it can be extracted from virtually all the parts of the cannabis plant. It is gotten from the leaves, stem, stalk and seeds, but the most important part of the plant is the flower. This is where you get the highest concentration of the substance.

    Cultivating Hemp

Different farmers cultivate hemp in different ways and this has resulted in different variants of the product which is usually referred to as strains. The word strain is typically used to refer to the content or ratio of both THC and CBD present in the cultivated hemp plant. Usually, the best strains contain higher levels of CBD and lower levels of THC. You can check out how hemp is cultivated here https://highgreennews.com/article/how-cultivating-cbd-hemp-plants-differs-industrial-hemp-cultivation-0.

There are many popular strains of CBD. One of these is what is called the Special Sauce.

    A little About Special Sause

Special Sauce is a high and unique CBD strain. It is a strain that finds its roots in Oregon. It was developed as a cross between two popular plants; the Early Resin Berry and the Original Special Sauce making it truly special and of high quality.

It comes with a potent and assorted cannabinoid profile and a lovely smell. Although it yields small to medium size nugs, they are as potent as they come. These nugs are light green with fuzzy trichomes as well as reddish-orange hairs. You will also notice some slight tones of purple.

The buds of Special Sauce are dense and sticky to touch due to their high resin content making it a connoisseur’s favorite and good for extraction. It contains a diverse array of cannabinoids such as CBCA, CBG, CBGA, CBCVA, CBDA, and THCA.

Its aroma gives off a special and distinct smell; a mixture of musk and berries with sweet vanilla undertones that encourages you to keep coming for more. It has a smooth, sweet taste with dark as well as woody flavors that burns well and goes down easy.

The most important part of the whole equation is its cannabinoid contents. Special Sauce has a CBD to THC ratio below:

    • CBD content: 17.85%
    • THC content: 0.069%

This shows that it is a high-quality strain. It also has a wide range of terpenes which makes up a total of about 1.62% including alpha- Bisabolol, caryophyllene, beta- farnesene, guaiol, phytol and many others.

Taking Special Sauce calms the nerves and provide relief from pain as it has powerful soothing capabilities.

    Buying and Using Special Sauce

Much like any CBD product, you can check for a Special Sauce CBD from trusted online sources. Avoid buying off the streets as much as possible. This is because you cannot ascertain how it is grown and the THC content it contains. With a trusted and reputable source, you can easily verify that.

Special Sauce can be taken through inhalation by using it in a vaporizer or rolling it up in a paper. It can as well be used with a pipe or water bong.

    Conclusion

There are several types of CBD strains but some with more quality than others. The higher the CBD content for a strain, the better it is. Special Sauce offers you high levels of cannabidiol and it comes with a great taste and a smell that keeps you wanting more.

Remember to buy your product from reputable sources always to ensure you are getting premium product.
