At Powis Castle and Garden in Welshpool, the Wisteria Floribunda is now in full bloom.

The seasonal must-see that stretches out across the garden’s Italianate Terraces is thought to be over 150 years old. Dotted with huge yew hedges and topped by the striking medieval Welsh castle, the world-famous garden cared for by National Trust Cymru is open everyday, 10am-5pm.

To catch the wisteria at its best plan a visit to Powis Castle and Garden within the next week or two
