A Wrexham business has brought the community together to collect toys to bring joy to the children at Hope House and Tŷ Gobaith this Christmas.

V4B Group launched the scheme earlier this year to collect toys to be donated to seriously ill children who receive care at the two children’s hospices in Oswestry and Conwy.

The toy drive, which was launched by Wrexham AFC star Elliot Lee, had a dedicated drop-off point at the company’s base at Ellkat House on Wrexham Industrial Estate and was collected in a van and donated last week.

Tony Povey, Director of the V4B Group, said: “We believe in giving back to the community that has supported us over the years.

“Christmas should be a time of joy for every child, and with the help of the Wrexham community, we are delighted to have been able to make this donation to Hope House and Tŷ Gobaith to make this a reality.

“Thank you so much to everyone who donated as part of the drive.”
