Cardiff Young Professionals, a monthly networking group, has successfully raised £1,000.00 for their chosen charity of the year, Dreams and Wishes. The achievement highlights the power of collective efforts in making a positive impact on the lives of those in need.

Dreams and Wishes is a charity dedicated to fulfilling the dreams of seriously ill children and their families; providing them with moments of joy and happiness amidst challenging circumstances. The charity relies heavily on the support of individuals and groups, like the Cardiff Young Professionals, to carry out its mission.

Wendy Hobbs, Board Member and Business Ambassador of Dreams and Wishes, expressed her gratitude, stating, “The Cardiff Young Professionals have truly made a difference in the lives of the children we support. This donation will go a long way in bringing smiles to the faces of those facing health challenges. We are thankful for their commitment to making a positive impact in the community.”

The Cardiff Young Professionals achieved this milestone through a unique and dedicated year-long ticket sales campaign. Each ticket sold at one of their monthly events resulted in a donation of £1.00 to the Dreams and Wishes Charity. This creative approach not only engaged the community but also provided a sustainable means of fundraising throughout the year.

Lewis Turner, Founder of the Young Professionals Group said “We are thrilled to have been able to contribute to Dreams and Wishes, a charity that brings joy and hope to the lives of children facing serious illnesses. Our members have shown tremendous generosity, and it’s inspiring to witness the positive change we can create when we come together as a community.”

As they mark this milestone, Cardiff Young Professionals look forward to continuing their charitable endeavours, leveraging the strength of collective action to create even more impactful initiatives in the years to come.
