LEGO® fans in Cardiff are in for a treat, as the LEGO Group announce the LEGO Store will relocate to a bigger store in St David’s Centre later this summer.

The LEGO Store Cardiff has been delighting shoppers in the city for almost 15 years and has a strong following of fans of all ages. The new and improved store will offer visitors opportunities to fully immerse themselves in the world of LEGO building, with imagination and creativity throughout the store, including:

    • LEGO Pick a Brick Wall: a great way for customers to select the exact elements that they require for their builds.
    • Giant models: incredible large scale LEGO models unique to Cardiff.
    • Hands-on Play Opportunities: including free build challenges and events each month.
    • Build a Minifigure Tower: visitors can mix and match from a wide selection of bottoms, tops, heads, hair pieces and accessories to customise LEGO minifigures.
    • Store Associates: whether customers are picking out a gift, looking for the latest set, or bringing a LEGO fan in for a special treat, the LEGO team can help find the perfect set for everyone.

Shweta Munshi, Vice President of Marketing, LEGO Retail at the LEGO Group: “We are delighted to share that we are relocating our LEGO Store Cardiff. We are continually investing in our store portfolio and this new store will be a top retail destination for product launches and events, while acting as a hub for our LEGO community and new builders alike.”

Helen Morgan, Centre Director at St David’s Cardiff, said: “The LEGO Store is such a popular brand here at St David’s, so we know the new, upsized store will be a treat for our guests to explore. Guest demand is high for exciting brands such as the LEGO Store and we look forward to unveiling the creative new space later this year.”

The official opening date and details for in-store events will be announced soon.

There are currently 20 LEGO Stores in the UK and the Cardiff Store relocation will provide visitors with an upgraded store that showcases the very best LEGO Brand experiences to our much loved community. This follows an extremely successful year for The LEGO Group in 2024 opening stores in Cribbs Mall, Bristol and across Europe.
