Sephora has confirmed it will open its first store in Wales this autumn, with doors set to open at St David’s Centre in Cardiff on Thursday 23 October 2025.

The launch marks Sephora UK’s 11th store and its first location outside of England, making it a major milestone in the retailer’s expansion. Since opening its debut London store in 2023, the global beauty brand has rapidly grown its UK presence, with new stores in Liverpool, Sheffield, Manchester and more.

To celebrate the Cardiff opening, Sephora will introduce its new Beauty Bonus Card giveaway, which gives every shopper who makes a purchase on opening weekend the chance to win prizes. These include full-size products, discounts, exclusive merchandise and the brand’s much-loved goodie bags. Entertainment and a VIP party with a Welsh twist are also promised.

Cardiff customers will be able to shop Sephora’s wide mix of global and exclusive brands, including Haus Labs by Lady Gaga, Makeup by Mario, Merit Beauty and INNBeauty Project, alongside viral favourites such as Glossier, Rare Beauty, Sol De Janeiro and Glow Recipe.

Sarah Boyd, Managing Director of Sephora UK, said:
“Opening our first UK store outside of England is a huge milestone for Sephora, and we’re incredibly excited to be coming to Cardiff. We know the Welsh beauty community have been patiently waiting for us, and we’re looking forward to welcoming them to our new flagship store in October. We want our opening to be inclusive, fun and rewarding for everyone, so keep an eye on our socials for details on how to join the celebrations.”

Helen Morgan, Centre Director of St David’s Cardiff, added:
“Sephora has been a hotly anticipated brand and we’re excited to officially confirm its arrival at St David’s later this year. We know there’s going to be a lot of love for Sephora as it opens its first Welsh store, and we can’t wait for opening day.”

The Cardiff store will span 4,672 sq. ft of retail space and feature Sephora’s signature mix of products, services and experiences, from personalised beauty consultations to loyalty rewards through the MySephora programme.
