    North Road in Cardiff closed following collision

    South Wales Police are currently at the scene of a collision on North Road in Cathays, Cardiff.

    The road is closed in both directions between the junctions of Canada Road and Colum Road and is expected to remain shut for some time while emergency services work at the scene.

    Motorists are being advised to avoid the area and use alternative routes where possible.

    A spokesperson for South Wales Police said:
    “We’re at the scene of a collision on North Road, Cathays. The road is currently closed in both directions between the junction of Canada Road and Colum Road. It is expected to remain closed for some time. Please avoid the area and use alternative routes where possible. We’re grateful for your patience.”
