Adoption Mid and West Wales has introduced a new visual identity for the regional adoption service covering Carmarthenshire, Ceredigion, Pembrokeshire and Powys.
The service finds safe, loving and permanent homes for children who cannot live with their birth families and supports adopted people, adoptive families and birth families throughout the adoption journey. It is formed by Carmarthenshire, Ceredigion, Pembrokeshire and Powys county councils under the National Adoption Service.
According to the release, the new identity reflects connections at the heart of adoption, drawing on themes of belonging, support and togetherness. While the visual identity has changed, the service’s purpose remains the same, and Adoption Mid and West Wales continues to provide high-quality, child-centred support, working with families across the region to find safe, stable and loving homes for children.
Alongside the new visual identity, Adoption Mid and West Wales has launched a new website with information about adoption, the support available and how to take the first step towards becoming an adopter.
Carmarthenshire County Council’s Cabinet Member for Adult Social Services and Children and Families, Cllr Jane Tremlett, said:
“Adoption is about giving children the opportunity to grow up in a safe, loving and permanent family. Behind every adoption are people coming together to support a child and help them build a brighter future. This new visual identity reflects the values at the heart of Adoption Mid and West Wales, as well as the strong partnership between Carmarthenshire, Ceredigion, Pembrokeshire and Powys. Most importantly, it reflects our continued commitment to children and families across our region.”
