Broadcaster and presenter Steve Jones has joined Radio X to present a Sunday morning show.
The programme runs from 8am to 11am on Sundays, starting on Sunday 4 October. Jones joins a Radio X schedule that includes Chris Moyles and Johnny Vaughan.
The move was announced by Global, which owns the station, on Wednesday 30 September.
Steve Jones said: “I’ve been listening to Radio X since day 1 because it’s got the trifecta that all radio stations aim for. Great presenters, great music, and fantastic listeners. I am beyond thrilled to enter the fray. Can’t wait to get started on Sunday mornings…unless this is all a fevered cheese dream of course.”
Matt Deverson, Managing Editor of Radio X, said: “Steve is a fantastic addition to Radio X. He’s an accomplished broadcaster with a real passion for music, and his humour and personality make him a perfect fit for the station. We’re delighted to welcome him to the Radio X family.”
Radio X reaches 2.4 million listeners every week, according to RAJAR / Ipsos-MORI / RSMB figures for Q2 2026. It is available across the UK on FM, DAB digital radio, Global Player, the Radio X app, smart speakers and at radiox.co.uk.
