Swansea Bay Business Club will be welcoming Welsh television presenter and nature observer Iolo Williams to their latest networking lunch on Friday April 20th, kindly sponsored by Burns Pet Nutrition who are celebrating 25 years in business this year.

Iolo will join guests at the Village Hotel in Swansea in the business club’s second event since the launch of their 2018 networking season, following on from last month’s lunch, which was cancelled due to the unforeseen poor weather conditions.

Swansea Bay Business Club President, Paul Gardner, comments:

“We are all looking forward to welcoming Iolo and getting our 2018 event season back underway after the disappointment of having to cancel last month’s event.

“The lunch will be another opportunity for me to continue my fundraising for the RNLI as well as a chance to welcome more guests from across the Swansea Bay City Region for another afternoon of networking in our new event season.”

Iolo began his career at the Royal Society for the Protection of Birds and has gone on to become one of the most recognisable faces on Welsh television after creating nature programmes for the BBC and S4C for the last three decades.

Paul continued: “Iolo’s vast knowledge of Welsh wildlife and our amazing landscapes combined with his experiences of working in the television and media industry over the last 30 years will make for an absolutely fascinating talk and a great insight in to how the industry has evolved over the years as well as some of the challenges that lie ahead.

“We can think of no better way to get our event season back up and running than being joined by one of Welsh television’s most popular personalities for what promises to be another brilliant afternoon for our guests.”

Tickets for Swansea Bay Business Club’s April lunch with Iolo Williams are priced at £25 for members and £30.50 for non-members; this will include a two-course lunch.

The lunch will be held at the Village Hotel in Swansea on Friday April 20th, guests are asked to arrive at 12:15 for a 1pm lunch.

The deadline to purchase tickets for the event is at midnight on Friday 13th April, one week before the event.
