An innovative training provider in Swansea has relocated to a larger premises after securing a five-figure finance package from HSBC UK, allowing them to recruit an additional 12 members of staff.
Inspire Training, which delivers fully-funded training and consultancy to businesses and unemployed adults across Wales, has used the finance package to expand the business by moving to larger premises. The additional space means the company has been able to increase the number of classrooms from five to 12, accommodating an extra 100 students per year.
Inspire offers bespoke training classes, including vocational programmes with work placements, to the unemployed and young people from disadvantaged backgrounds who feel uninspired to study at college or university. The company hopes to equip these people with the skills, qualifications and confidence to progress in a career and in their personal life.
Since its inception three and a half years ago, Inspire has gone from strength to strength, with two new contracts secured in the last 12 months alone from the Welsh Government. Along with the help of HSBC UK two years ago, this has increased the company turnover from £100,000 to £500,000 and forecasts suggest it will increase to £1 million by 2020.
